I think there should be some minimum time period during which you must hold shares.<br><br>The whole stock market is the idea of raising what is essentially free capital.  Folks buy a piece of the company in exchange for what?  There's no guarantee you'll make a profit and there is no guarantee that the company will survive.  For that risk, the rewards can be high if the company grows and makes a lot of money.  But where did this idea of "day trading" come about?  I don't see this as much different than playing the odds on a football game.  In most places it's illegal.  Why is it legalized by the stock market?  How is it different?<br><br>The real crime is the genius behind 401K.  We're incented to pay into this game and people get to gamble with our money.<br><br>The system needs a few new rules so the players don't hurt themselves.  I'm a capitalist but it seems that we removed too many rules and a lot of folks are trying to cheat their way to the top.]]></description>
