| LOL, FAIL. Wow. Are they seriously trying to refocus on dial-up? Dial up should been dead along time ago. Every one would rather have a high speed connection then a dial up connection. Also, I bet alot of people can beat there prices for dial up. Im only paying $9.99 with juno. I just use it so I can dial w/out all those programs they have that dials for you that takes up the little bandwidth you got. If DSL or cable was available, I would drop juno in a second. I think the forecast for earthlink is an extreme chance of FAIL.

He can even upgrade to Earthlink DSL, and he won't change. They make plenty of money, he's just afraid he will spend more time on his MAC than he already does. | |

| While I agree with you, I believe there was an article that said that there was like 62% of dialup users have no plans on switching. I would have to also agree that they will probably have to lower their price down to the $9.95 mark unless they offer other services that they know people will be willing to pay the extra $10 a month for.

| The old adage "why fix something that ain't broke" may come into play. Ther are alot of people that flat out don't know what they're missing. Theres also a significant number of people that are just out of reach for broadband. So they just keep it simple.
