| [Need Info] Does Photoshop CS4 get back Animated Gif capability?
This was completely removed in CS3 which means I'm still using CS2.
Does anyone know if they restore the functionaility in CS4?
(And please don't give me that BS workaround about importing it from the video import part. That whole option doesn't even function unless you install Quicktime, which I won't) -- /chown -R us:us /yourbase |

Create a layer for each frame and make your adjustments. Open Window|Animation and add each individual layer to the animation bar with only that layer being visible.
Each frame in the Animation(Frames) bar represents 1 layer only, although you can combine them if you want by making more than 1 layer visible per frame.
Edit: To save, goto File|Save For Web & Devices |

Edit: To save, goto File|Save For Web & Devices I know that, but due to the removal of Imageready, you can't open them (first frame only). Which makes it pretty useless in my opinion.
(There's a hackish workaround to use the import movie function, but that requires quicktime to even open that menu, regardless of what filetype you wish to open)
This is what I'm asking if they fixed in CS4. |

Yeah you're right about that. No ability that I found to open and animated GIF and retain all the frames. |
