| I've unlocked numerous phones and debranded them, but what do you do with a TMobile phone that has UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access)? If you debrand a phone you can't access the VOIP type features of the phone which is a shame, because often you just need a browser to agree to the terms and conditions at your local hotspot or in your hotel room.
Moreover, debranding phones is often not for the faint of heart. On the more than one phone, I've had to hexedit the header to trick the autoupdaters into believing I had a generic phone.
