| Earthlink is out of touch... I called Earthlink about their cable Internet. They were offering service at a GREAT price (6000 for 30 dollars a month), unrestricted newsgroups, etc....I was ready to go, until they told me the upload-384 kbps!
6000/384 Internet. Can you believe it? You figure they'd have 768 kbps or at least 512, but 384?? That was two year old upload speeds!
I walked.
I'm sorry, but a 16:1 D/U assymetry is too much. Network engineers don't recommend more then a 10:1 assymetry.
They need to come into the present. |
