Hialeah, FL | Directv... I have been a Directv subscriber since Directv became Directv. I am a former Bellsouth customer, so Directv was offered through Bellsouth. I am happy with Directv, I will never leave Directv!! They have me for life. |

| I know I came from PrimeStar. Not sure if it was a name change or a buyout, but DirecTV is great and I've never cared much for Dish. |

1 edit | PrimeStar was a separate satellite service from DirecTV. It launched its service in 1991, 3 years before DirecTV. It was acquired and shut down by DirecTV in 1999. Primestar customers were transitioned to DirecTV. |
