Re: Thank Bush for killing the "Govt suing infringers" part That's not entirely true - there are certain cases where protecting the IP of a private company is important to the government, but music and movies certainly does NOT fit that bill. I don't see the incentive for other countries to go along with this though, afterall it isn't their economy being hurt by the piracy - and given the tactics thusly employed by the RIAA/MPAA I don't care if piracy even slows down as long as they're around. |
