When the IP is owned by people/companies in the US, then yes, the US has a valid reason to educate other countries. If countries are members of the WTO, then they should already be educated, but a refresher might not hurt. Since Canada is a member of the WTO, expect your reeducation shortly

| Too bad laws are different in other countries and we're in no way obligated to honour your insane 60+ year copyright laws which magically seem to get longer and longer.
I'm not that worried about you guys forcing your copyright laws upon us though, seems to me your government has much bigger things on its plate right now. |
