Re: This makes NO Sense...?!?...

Why not just change you WEP or WPA. Then you will have nothing to worry about.

This is it... Yes, I have changed my WPA... I thought I ended this yesterday...

===> yesterday ... "Thanks everyone, it was my fault... Long story on why trying to be a nice guy is not a good idea... I'm sure you know what I'm getting at... My neighbor's DSL went out a while back and asked if he could use mine (wifi) for a day or two... I didn't want to but what are neighbors for... Well looks like we'll not be talking to each other for awhile, he denies it even after his PC name came up on my router's Attached Devices..." ...

MAC Filtering (highly recommended anyway) would allow you to shut him/her off without having to change your Encryption Key (which requires you to reconfigure all your workstations).

Wi-Fi 101:

Suppress SSID Broadcast
Encryption
MAC Filtering

PS: MAC Filtering is NOT the same as DHCP IP Reservation based on MAC address. MAC Filtering is a Wireless Setup function. MAC reservation is a DHCP setup function.

That's exactly what I do. You can still get around it but takes longer then just using a Key and broadcasting the SSID.
