Re: Tweak Test analysis server down

I tried in Firefox and couldn't match your result. Could you try it in safe mode to see if maybe it's one of your extensions?

What extensions? lol

The only thing is AVG and it's disabled because Firefox states it doesn't play nice with 3.x

I ran DrTCP and rebooted so this is from a fresh reboot. Tried Firefox in both normal mode and Safe Mode and still says the same thing - analysis server down.

Well I'm stumped, the only difference I can see was that I was logged out but that shouldn't matter.

Yeah I'm logged out on IE as well. I've been playing with my router settings (it's not cooperating for me) and I just went to rerun the tweak test from IE and now I get the same analysis server down message there as well. I just closed and reopened the window and it works now. I got the MTU fixed (router was set to auto and was limiting me to about 576 (548 on the ping test +28 gets me 576). Things seem much faster now. Let me try it on Firefox again.

Edit: Ahhh it works in Firefox now. Perhaps the MTU did it but why wouldn't it have affected IE as well then?

Argh it seems to be hit and miss. It's telling me the analysis server is down again in Firefox. Hmmm and now IE is saying the same thing. Only thing I've changed in the last hour have been upgrading the firmware on my WRV54G and connecting to it for wireless instead of an annoying D-Link. I don't think that would be related though.

Edit: And just like that IE works now. Lets check FF again. Nope no go.
