| Admin. or Standard access in Mac OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard)?
Hello.
I am new to Mac OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard). If I set an account to standard instead of admin., will I have features being blocked like CD/DVD burning, adding/removing hardwares, programs/games refusing to run without admin., etc.? I do see many updates, big changes, etc. require me to enter my password again even with an administrator access.
I know in Windows 2000 and XP, some programs and games require administrator access which is annoying.
Thank you in advance. -- Ant @ »antfarm.ma.cx and »aqfl.net. Please do not IM/e-mail me for technical support. Use the forum! Disclaimer: The views expressed in this posting are mine, and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer |
