WiMax Backhaul Links

I wonder what the PtP backhaul links have been provisioned with in terms of BW. At what point will WiMax users begin to feel a pinch.
I wouldn't think that they would lay out all kinds of capital for 10-30Mb of backhaul right off the bat....??

Some WiMAX testers were saying they got 11-14Mbps so they must be supplying a pretty large backhaul. Sprint is conservatively estimating 2-4Mbps when factoring shared usage. But you may be able to peak much higher if on a low used tower. WiMAX also has better latency than EVDO.

A little bird chirped in my ear that you have hit the chief roadblock in the whole scheme.

A Suit made quoted remarks to the effect that they had many hundreds more sites all ready to go, except for the missing backhauls.

And while ideally a site would get fed with 100Mb or better, I bet you'll find some/many initially fed with FAR less, as in copper speeds.
