 [modem/router] Upgrade Modem???

Hello-
I currently have a Westell Infospeed DSL modem. I was wondering if I should upgrade to a newer, faster modem.
Oh, and I should mention that I'm working on a iMac G5 (Apple). Tell me if you need further info. Thanks in advance.

Milford, NH		 What do you mean by "faster modem?" DSL speed is set by the DSLAM. Take a look at modem stats and if modem is syncing correctly changing modem will have no effect.

If sync speed is low troubleshoot you line for impairments.
