| Trying to Uninstall AUTOCLICK Please help Me
Hello all. My son installed AutoClick which according to the CNET download site "does mouse clicks for you when you're unable to click, or when clicking is an operation that takes a lot of effort" Anyway, there is no uninstall option with the program. Was hoping that someone here was knowledgeable in how to get rid of this program. Thank you in advance. PS - I have a Dell8250 with WIN XP. |

| My first step would be to make an image or backup copy (Acronis TI, or something similar) of the computer. Then I would look in the program folder for an uninstall program. If there is not an uninstall program and this program does not appear in the add/remove section of the control panel, then look at the registry. If you can't find the program listed in the registry, then I would rename the folder with the application and rename the *.exe file. Reboot and do a test run. If the computer and mouse seem to be working under these conditions, then I would simply delete the folder in two or three days. But I would make sure I had that backup or image. |

| reply to HGlenn Thanks for the replies. The mouse works. The fact that this autoclick box appears at every start up is annoying. There is nothing associated with the program to let me uninstall from the control panel. However I did find several files for autoclick in the registry. A bit nervous about deleting them. I do have Tune-Up Utilities which might help, but still apprehensive. |

| reply to HGlenn you might try the free Revo uninstaller and see if it finds it in your system if it does you will have the option to remove it with Revo. »www.revouninstaller.com/index.html
you can also check if it starts at start up with revo and change that option |
