[iO] 4250HD signal levels

Hello,

I was just wondering what are acceptable signal levels for a 4250HD box? I get alot of pixely images and breakups sometimes on HD channels, and SD channels look like crap. I want to know if it's because of the signal. The signal always seems to go between -9dbmv to -13dbmv. I checked by hitting select on the box, then hitting info after that and the Status Summary came up.

The current setup, which I cant really change is: Pole to splitter outside the house, then that wire to another splitter, then to my TV, Internet and other TV. There's a splitter outside of the house because that goes to 2 other TV's in other parts of the house.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

the signal levels could vary fast enough that the changes wont be seen on the diagnostic screen.
there could be cable line noise issues that the diagnostic screen also doesnt display.
the box could be overheating.
check analog channel 78 & 73, if its clear and not fuzzy like theres a weak signal or noisy like theres interference, the rest of your digital channels should be ok
