| Sox-Twins Game picture in Regular TBS
Ive been watching the sox-twins game in regular tbs and the pitcture is pathetic. This makes no sense. I urge everyone in socal to call and complain about this. 1-888-553-1555 There might be another number but thats the one i use. Texas doesnt even have a team in and could prob careless about the mlb playoffs in HD and they get it but we dont. |

Torrance, CA | To be honest, our best option is probably just to find a friend with TBS HD. Verizon probably gave FL & TX TBS HD because their crews were there already to begin the channel additions anyway. |

ya im already going to my buddies house for the game but i was hoping they would be smart enough to add it. I like to watch all the games in HD. This is two years in a row. Please dont let this happen again next year, even though i know they're adding channels the 15th not the 9th like they said in the mail. Anyone with verizon and likes baseball with an hdtv in socal is gonna be pretty upset about all of this. Im guessing at least 20,000 people fall into that category. |

if texas has it, im sure Verizon is working on it for so california as well.
If your TBS-SD picture is that bad, call it into Verizon, they may have an issue just isolated to your area. |

its not that bad its just not HD. I compare it to going to a baseball game and sitting in the outfield (SD) and sitting on the baseline front row (HD). i dont see how long it could take to add 1 channel. What could they be working on? Im sure all they do is just send it out. It really cant be that hard with todays technology. |

Wait. There is a way we can watch the dodgers in HD. We need to hope that the MIl-PHI game goes 20 innings. If that happens they will put the dodger game on TNT HD like last year if a game goes past its projected time. |

No, it's not like flipping a switch. I don't know all the gory details but I've read enough here and elsewhere to know that it's not just a matter of "sending it out". |

As off yet, there is absolutely no indication that Verizon intends to deliver TBS HD to CA before Oct.15th, which will be too late. |

I dont know what to say except im just gonna hope when i wake up tomorrow i see a channel 849 TBS HD. If not what a let down! Even though they already confirmed we wouldnt get it hopefully they work on it and change their mind. Have fun watching the dodgers and angels in HD texas! |

On a side note, does anyone know if Vin Scully will do the radio broadcast for all 9 innings on KABC? |

Im not sure if vin scully is or not. I know he is definately traveling with the team to chicago and im guessing he will do the whole game. How many more years does he have on his contract? and when does he plan to retire? |

He has a one year contract for next year (he just signed it). He has no plans to retire, he just talks to his wife about it each time it comes to renew. |
