One assumes that NHL-HD will require a subscription to the Sports Pak (or possibly the Center Ice package) and could be sdv like the other sports pak channels, but theres nothing official on that. |

| 3 of those channels, MTV, VH1 & CMT barely have any HD to speak of on them. So those 3 channels are crap & just HD place holders for Viacom IMO. Would have been nice for Cablevision to get Palladia HD instead, since it actually has HD content on it from MTV, etc. More HD channels are better than none I guess. |

The SportsPak is not SDV only the subscription league packages are. So NHL Center Ice is SDV but NHL Network is not. |

5 more I dont watch. Can you even call MTV a music channel anymore? I cant remember the last time I saw music videos on mtv. Just give me BBC America and all the other HBO and Stars channels in HD and I would be happy. I wish Fios was available here. |

I would've been happy with Fuse-HD back when it was a really cool channel five years ago. Now, they have unfortunately become MTVish.
VH1 is pure garbage "reality." Anyone who watches this channel, simply put, is wasting the earth's supply of oil. |

W.T.F? Are you kidding me, where the heck is History HD, USA HD, Sci-Fi HD, Bio HD, A&E HD, instead they add these piece of shite channels. I cannot stand the whole MTV thing, got a little too old for that. Fuse, CMT, VH1, I think I'm gonna go puke. I'm all for HD additions but when bandwith is limited please prioritize.
These channels suck arse, I must say this is one round of HD additions that I am not looking forward to. I guess we will get the NBC Universal networks when pigs fly. True morons at CV. |

If that is the reason these channels such as History, Bravo, Sci-Fi, USA, A&E, Bio HD have not been added yet then this is utterly ridiculous, we don't need another Cuban HDNet on our hands. This is crazy that they add some of the shittiest channels but one's that are of decent quality are nowhere to be added. Fuse, VH1, MTV, CMT, yawn. I really cannot wait for FIOS in my area, further ammo to leave at first chance. |

I assume those on Lynbrook, Great Neck and Islip systems can get the channels in HD by tuning to the SD channel number location, currently in testing, with the exception of NHL Network HD. |

All video customers subscribing to iO Sports Pak or NHL Center Ice Seasonal Sports Package with HD equipment will be able to enjoy NHL Network HD."
I guess this means we are in fact getting MTV-HD as originaly reported and not Palladia (formerly MHD) as reported on EngadgetHD.
Palladia seems to have very similar content to RAVE-HD anyway.

While Mount Vernon will get two additional Showtime HD channels, three additional Starz HD channels and the following high-def non-premium channels: Cartoon Network, Discovery HD, Fox Business News HD, Fox News HD, FX HD, TLC HD, Palladia HD, Travel Channel HD, Weather Channel HD, ESPN News HD, and the NHL Network HD."
They haven't mentioned Manhattan but what the hell is CV doing that they can't add some of these channels like Fox Business HD, along with the usual NBC/Universal Suite. I expect more than these 5 trash by the end of the year. There must be something big around the corner, these junk channels can't suppose to quell our HD thirst.
All I ask for is the NBC/Universal channels that is it for me. |
