| reply to pariah206 Apparently the Xbox site was under maintenance, and was giving an odd message about MTU during that time.
I'm not sure if the maintenance is over - I don't use xbox, so I cannot test.
The general principle for MTU settings, is that they need to be made on the end points of the communication. That is, you would have to do that on your xbox, not on your modem. As far as I know, there isn't any setting on the Westell 6100 that could help with such problems. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 327w modem/router; openSuSE 11.0; firefox 3.0.1 |

| Ok i fail MTU, probably everyone knows that about this modem. My question is what do i do. Get a router and try to config it and make a dummy bridge, try and get a diff verizon modem if even possible, or start searching for a different service, OR any other suggestions anyone may have would be really freakin helpful. |
