Cyfre Signal booster....nothing but problems..any ideas?

So the last couple of days the signal on my connection manager has been finicky...it goes to 76db, and then to 100db, and everywhere in between. While this is going on, the connection is very slow and at times it will not connect at all. Ive tried it on another computer and it couldnt even find the signal. The final test was to put it on the laptop and walk outside. As soon as i got to open sky, the signal came up, and it connected. So, somehow, something with the cyfre setup isnt working right. There are no problems when its taken out of the loop.

Any ideas on trouble shooting it? I havent had any problems till now with it, but its not even a year old. Ive tried unplugging the amp and turning it back on, but thats doesnt really seem to do anything.

Check your cable to your antenna , Also make sure Magnetic mount antenna is on a metal ground plane . If you purchased from us and you have had less than a year . Send in amplifier , power cable and copy of original invoice and we will replace . If you did not purchase from us I can't help you out

i purchased it from you.

Im going to check all my connections tonight. Its on a metal roof, so, plenty of ground plane there.

Do you know of any way to troubleshoot it? I hate to send it in if there isnt anything wrong with it for sure.

I gave you all the trouble shooting tips . Make sure it is secure on the ground plane . Clean the bottom of antenna and surface it is mounted on so it is making a good connection . Make sure power light is on on the amplifier. Make sure connection from card to amplifier is good and cable is not compromised . That's it! If it is none of those things and you are still not getting proper performance , we will swap it for a new one.
