Remember this is a bipartisan passing in the Senate when you go to vote this November.
It was House Republicans who blocked it last time. Will they block it again? Will Democrats not like the new tax cuts and block it tomorrow? Will it pass as easily in the House as it did in the senate? Hopefully the damn thing dies tomorrow. If not, we've been sold out by both major parties. -- We have two political parties in America. One is evil, and the other is stupid. Sometimes, they get together and do something both evil and stupid. That's called bipartisanship. |

Yea I hope this dies tomorrow. Yes I have had some big losses in stock but sure it will recover. If our leader would stop with the sky is falling crap maybe people wouldn't panic. You would think after the blatant lies the President told us about the WMD that Iraq had and was going to use against us we would learn.
And as far as the so called credit crisis maybe they shouldn't be giving out loans to people that can't afford them. Is this a bad thing.
Am seeing the same number of pre-approved credit cards/loans I have been getting in the past. |

Big business has always taken favoritism over the American public/voter. Let's just understand something here, while I don't agree with the bailout the reality of the situation is that the entities that will be hurt most if there isn't a bailout are companies that had nothing to do with the situation that caused the bailout. These would be companies that borrow money short term to buy supplies and capital and this will spread to the average joe that is laid off because small to medium sized companies can't secure loans to produce goods and services. Credit greases the wheels of commerce, it allows smaller companies to do things they wouldn't otherwise be able to do. Without credit (which without a bailout is likely to be very, very hard to secure) many people will lose their jobs.
Again I don't agree with the bailout but mostly because it is very unlikely that it will be followed up on with actions to deal with the actual problem and the impact that occurs because of the bailout. A bailout only buys us time, it doesn't fix anything. -- The worlds elusive, remember where love's the leaf faith, the river what's born as flame dies in ember see for yourself! |
