Don't get me wrong, Democrats suck equally as bad at blowing our money. It's just in such a way it doesn't screw up stuff on a global scale. I think the problem is that the interests of politicians do not align with the interests of the populations/countries as a whole. The interest of a politician is to get elected in X years time. The interest of a country is to be stable and prosperous over the long term. What a politician needs to do in government to achieve the former, often conflicts with what he needs to do to achieve the later. I wonder which goal these aholes choose.
