I need to extend from the smartjack about 400 feet with a utp cat5e what is the maximum distance approved with out having problems You can extend the DS1 side to about 1200 feet by using the Line BuildOut (LBO) settings on the sjack.
FWIW the default LBO on most sjacks is 0-330 feet and I think the next setting is out to 450 feet.
Wayne -- If you cannot fix it with a buttset and some beanies you ain't a technician.
