My mom and I are VZW customers *because* of that ironclad coverage. All over Maryland (even in the mountains of Maryland's "skillet handle"), Atlantic City, Texas, Las Vegas, the phones Just Plain Work. Because we are both VZW customers, calls between us are always free (24/7), and the only time either one of us was ever hit with a roaming charge is when mom was making cell calls from aboard a cruise ship. Who wants features I'll never use (and therefore waste money on) when I can get rock-solid network reliability wherever I am and whenever I need it instead (and get it at no extra cost)? |
