| STB clock
My standard set top box won't revert to the clock display no matter how long I wait. I've checked the settings. Seems to be a bug in the software. We've tried all the usual FIOS fixes: unplugging and restarting listening to hold music for 2 hours putting pins in random dolls finding a dusty spot and wiggling cables throwing money in the toilet howling at the moon
any other suggestions? |

| reply to jeffm My 2 have lost it's clock settings one night the past 2 weeks. Simple fix, got STB display settings and change display to channel, press ok, and then change it back to time, and then press ok again.
Weird that this bug will pop up for me the past couple of weeks though. |

| reply to FIOS MAN said by FIOS MAN :Go to menu, then set top box, then front display and change it from channel to clock. On mine at least the front display is still set to clock even though it's displaying channel. I have to change it to channel and then back to clock. |

Not sure why it's doing that. |

| reply to jeffm I have both a std STB and and an HD-DVR. When they were running on IMG 1.5, I set both to display the clock. What I noticed was that when you change the channel, they both displayed the channel until the display advanced to the next minute. Once I made the change to displaying the clock, both boxes behaved that way, until 1.6 was pushed.
The std STB reverted to displaying the channel, by default, after the 1.6 IMG update. I switched it back to the clock display and it has been in that mode since, behaving just as it did when under 1.5.
The HD-DVR display mode did NOT change after the 1.6 IMG update and still switches back to the clock display when the minute advances.
