| Social Engineering at its worst.
Please be aware that a user on DSLreports by the name of rdavido  has been asking some questions of me, and other users of this group in regards to MAC addresses and config files.
This user does *NOT* work for MetroCast, please do not give him any information at all. If you receive a PM from him, please let me know either here for via PM.
It looks like he is attempting to steal service with a cloned MAC, as he has asked at least two people for their MAC addresses, as well as increasing his speed to a possible "unpublished" package, as he asked for that information to me in a PM, as well as in a recent thread.
Again, he does *NOT* work for MetroCast, and please report any messages that you receive from him. |

It should be noted that it is impossible for someone to run a "line test" using just a MAC address, without having access to our core networking gear.. |
