| I love teksavvy
I just had a great experience with Teksavvy, and as much as I maybe don't need to post this, I'm going to anyways.
When I originally signed up with Tek, I went the premium & rent to own 516 route, so therefore I had been getting charged around $42 a month. Fast forward to today, I couldn't remember when I was I signed up for Tek but I was think it was over 6 months ago but I was still getting charged the same rate.
So I phoned in, talked to one woman, and was transferred to another woman in accounting (For the life of me can't remember their names even though it happened only minutes ago, but both were very nice and human ), gave the name on the account, she then confirmed my address, then she said I was being charged premium and speedtouch and all I had to say was, "yes, the speedtouch was going to be my question" She counted the months and turns out I had paid 3 months extra for the modem. She apologized sincerely on Tek's behalf, and I just said that's ok, I couldn't remember when I signed up anyways, so now I've been credited the money, meaning I'll be getting a free month of Tek, and a little over a dollar off the month after with my payments going down to what they should be ($31 and change). All in all I think the phone call took 5 minutes max.
I've just gotta say, I love Teksavvy. Speaking to nice, courteous, actual people when I phone in, having problems solved in minutes. I just thought to myself "I always get a warm feeling when I phone into Tek, I almost wish I had more problems so I could phone in more often." While there may be some naysayers as of late, I've just got to say, I'm not one of them, nice job Tek. |

| reply to melak I'm not sure I'd say I love Teksavvy however I will say I thoroughly enjoy giving them as much of my business as possible. I've also recommended them to other friends.
At the end of of the day, when I have to talk with someone from Teksavvy, it does sound like they care about my problem. Further, it's not some droid who's following some script.
In short, the human touch works very well and I appreciate it. -- pablo openSUSE 11.0;KDE ISP: TekSavvy DSL; backhauled via a 6KM wireless link |

| I love teksavvy too. If Tim Hortons delivered, I would call them up and have them deliver TimBits to the staff, just like you call a florist and have them deliver flowers to a girl you love
Back in the early days, there were a few times when they called me. That was pretty awsome.
And considering the big mouth I have, it is pretty amazing that they haven't "Ralphed" me yet. (Yes, I was one of those that got "fired" by Ralph). |
