A technician of Bell went to my house 2 days after I called VIF Internet and they said that my telephone line wass not good.

Now I can go up to 530k/sec.

I would guess that your profile was lowered to the default when leaving Bell and going to VIF. I am a client of VIF Internet from 1 year and a half and I would like to know if it's normal that the speed of my Internet connection does not exceed 110k/sec?
This week the average speed is 95k/sec.

With Sympatico, the average speed of my Internet connection was 300k/sec or more.

But when I moved at VIF, I bought a new SpeedStream 5360 modem and a router Trendnet 432brp therefore the current modem is connected behind a router.

With all this, is it normal to have a slow Internet connection?
Do you think my modem or my router has a problem?
