The CDMA/GSM debate is irrelevant- in this case all that matter is the following:
at&t: Shiny Apple product
VZW: No shiny Apple product
Sprint: No shiny Apple product
T-Mobile: No shiny Apple product
Why would someone looking for a more open environment buy an iPhone 3G, which may be the most closed smartphone platform on the market?
