| Verizon had IPhone and gave it up Apple came to Verizon with the Iphone, but Verizon passed when Apple placed restrictions on how Verizon could sell it. Apple told Verizon they could only sell it in Apple stores or Verizon Wireless stores. Verizon said what about Best Buy, Circuit City, BJS, Costco, Sam's club, authorized retailers, etc. Apple said nope. Verizon said it wasn't fair so they'd pass. Dumbest decision ever made by Verizon as now Best Buy carries the IPhone. They should've simply accepted the restrictions because it wasn't like they would lose subscribers over it. |

Hilliard, OH | I don't think anyone here knows WHY Verizon passed, it's all speculation...but we do know they did, and based on the #'s here, it would appear to be shortsighted. |
