I heard a rumor that said the level 80 dailies will be raking in 5Kg every week. Does anyone know the truth behind this? |

5k/week is roughly 715g/day. At 25 quest max it'd take around 29g per quest.

you act like 5Kg is going to be a lot money when in fact it won't be as the cost to repair and buy new things will go up in price too, so 5Kg will seem like 1Kg at level 60.

People without high level characters will have an ever harder time getting items from the AH with the "inflation" now.
That said, I am making a ton of money at level 45... I have over 400 gold set up. Considering I have no help, I guess lower level guys aren't that bad off after all...

I rolled a new alt on another server. It was really hard to begin with zero G.
But if you take up mining and even herbalism you will be making money very fast. I had enough gold to buy a 16 slot bag at level 10.
--Then I took the easy way out and got a 100G loan from someone I knew!
But I wouldn't be suprised that stuff costs a lot in wotlk. I know the rings from Dalaran cost ~8000G. I'll probably end up buying one because its a free hearth to Dalaran.

I also heard the passenger land mount is going to go for 60k. Figure 25 dailies / day at 28.5g / quest... It would be 2.8 months of daily grinding (not counting other sources of income or expenditures) to get it. There's my goal. |

Right now if you include the vendor trash, you can make about 2200 - 2400 a week. So 5K sounds about right for lvl 80.
I'm curious though, do you need one of these mammoth mounts or are they just for show?

and unless something drastic has changed, there wasn't going to be a new flying skill, instead there was going to be a quest at lvl 75 to learn cold weather flying. Has that changed? |

The 3 person mount that also carries vendors is 20k. That is the most expensive mount. You can repair, sell trash, and buy reagents. You can get a faction discount. |

What its going to be in WOW tender will be almost worthless execpt to buy the stuff that does make you a better player. Meaning how it is now, there is nothing you can buy in the game that will make you a class A Raider or Class A PvPer. All must be earned and not with GOLD. Does this suck? Yes and No. Since Blizzard cant stop the gold farmers they will just make GOLD worthless and have as much as you want of it, because the best items are always going to be BOP even the Cool Mounts.
Buying mats for a prof is the only thing I really see using money on or pots once in a while.

I'm so buying the mount when I can have access to it. It seem by reading trade chat in beta, people are earning around 2500g-3000g a week off just dailies if you do them all.
Being able to carry around a vendor and the fact that it's huge and cool looking makes me want to get it for me and my brother. |
