TSI Speedtest Down ?

Just tried speedtest.teksavvy.com, directly in my browser and from the DSLR link. Neither would work. A reboot of the modem didn't work either, just changed me from ERX2 to 3. Is it down, as part of the upgrades?

it's possible they broke the link to it or change where it now resides... There's been discussions of making it public, but I don't know where it landed up from last nights activities...

Speaking of which, what did you do last night? Lost my internet at about midnight (maybe earlier, I wasn't home). not that it matters, you warned us all that you were working to improve the network!

I'm in Quebec city, if it matters.

We didn't affect connectivity last night... If you dropped offline it would have been something else.

Even tonight, I believe the only thing that will be affected will be the internet traffic side of things... don't think we'll be touching the ERXs, just the M7i boxes (being replaced with the MX480)....

Last night was getting things prepped and reorganized to make things cleaner/better for future add-ons....

One of the only things that was for sure affected was logging in. The radius/authentication side was taken down for a bit, so if you restarted the modem while this happened, then yeah, you'd have been affected.

Hmmm.. My Line Monitoring says otherwise. I was able to connect, but I couldn't do anything on the net. Maybe Bell did something then... Oh well.

In other threads, notably the one about upgrades, some people reported a loss of DNS resolution.

If ever there's a DNS outage, here are the OpenDNS servers that people can use for the time being:

Primary: 208.67.222.222
Secondary: 208.67.220.220
