| reply to wonders Hi,
I don't have a SpeedTouch on-line but since you got 'DMT' working it will be easy enough. TelNet to speedtouch.lan using 'Hyper-Terminal' or the basic console-mode TelNet client included with MicroSoft 'Windows' then enter the user-defined UserName/PassWord (if you defined them before) and enter "menu"... This provides an interactive text-mode interface which makes configuration much more intuitive. The key-work to start with should be "adsl", i presume, and the whole CLI command probably looks something like this:
adsl config xdsltype=adsl
Syntax may differ according to FirmWare version.
You must type these CLI commands when done:
saveall system reboot
This is necessary to apply your modifications... |

All the options I see in DMT have some sort of fallback to ADSLv1 if no sync is achieved at ADSL2+.
I'm just simply experimenting. |
