I took an offer that was available from my employer which provided me the initial 2 months free service and an additional 6 months of free service. In total that should have been 8 months of service before I was billed. I followed every instruction for obtaining this offer.
At the end of my first month I received a bill for the next month, which stroke me as odd seeing that I was supposed to get 8 months free. I called in to Vonage and they told me that they knew nothing of the offer from my employer so I gave them the web address (which was on their server) so they could look at the offer themselves. And guess what? The hung up on me!
After talking to them a number of times (about 16) I finally got them to cancel my service because they failed to uphold their agreement. I then got a call from them a month later telling me my bill was late... I went off, seeing that I had already been promised that my account was canceled and I would not be billed again.
Then after all was said and done, they call yet again! this time to confirm my account was canceled and asked if I wanted to come back... for 4 months free! I LOL'd. -- Visit my homepage »thinkequality.net
Most companies have bad service when you cancel, I only pay 20.77 after all fees for 500 minutes phone service. Its still well worth the deal, i mean you save half. Time Warner charges between 30-40 a month
