| Sprint DID ruin Nextel. All my Nextel phones worked great until a month after the sprint buyout of Nextel. How did they do it? They sold cell towers and leased SOME of them back. The California high desert area wasn't enough of a money maker to make Sprint want to lease these towers back. How do I know this? Because Sprint told me! They were even nice enough to let me out of my contract. Now I use a Verizon P.T.T. phone! Aside from missing the "chirp", it is everything and more than Nextel was when it first came out. |
