One way Communication on phone power

I have Comcast Modem terminating to WAN port of the phone power adapter then LAN from phone power adapter terminating to Belkin Wireless router.

I am getting great speed from Comcast however after doing Phone power speed test for VOIP, it was seen that there are excessive Pause delay in the communication.

Will this cause the one way TX that I am experiencing? Has any one else experienced such a problem with Comcast Modem?

Re: One way Communication on phone power

The test is is very sensitive. Real world results usually reveal great quality sound and service.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "one way communication". If that means you can make outgoing calls, but can not receive incoming calls, then it's usually a simple tech support fix. Give support a call at 888/60-POWER they are open Saturdays.

BTW We expect to be open for 7 day support in the next few weeks.

Re: One way Communication on phone power

One Way Communication occurs down the call after it has been established for a min. or so then other party can not hear me. This is not all the time on the call. It is only for short duration say 10 to 20 seconds and then other party can hear me (If he has not disconnected already! !)

One thing is that I always could hear other party. He can not hear me. That's what I am referring to one way communication.

I was told that "Max Pause" in the VOIP speed test is excessive. However now it is down to about 200 ms. But still having same issue.

Here are latest results of this test.
