At least its working now.
Out of curiosity where did you get Widcomm drivers?

Make sure that you have bluetooth selected as your Microphone.
There is nothing called just 'bluetooth'. I did have something called "Bluetooth SCO", which would work for listening but not mic.

Anyways, I pried out the crappy BlueSoleil package and installed Widcomm 5.0.1.2500 drivers. After rebooting windows, paired the Jawbone, fired up Skype and instantly it was working.

I blame crappy BlueSoleil drivers.

I'm on Windows XP SP3, 32bit with BlueSoleil 6.2.227.11 installed. I've got a TrendNet TWB-104UB USB BT adapter (00:11:E0:03:0A:EB) and a the new Jawbone headset (00:21:3C:0C:6D:C7). I can successfully pair the Jawbone with the PC and even hear sound in it (via Bluetooth SCO Audio), yet am unable to use the microphone. In BlueSoleil it shows up as "Bluetooth headset and microphone", so I'm fairly sure it's connect properly.

Using Windows 'Test Hardware' feature in the sound control panels, it reports "You can hear other people while using voice chat, but they cannot hear you. Contact your vendor for more information". Searching around on Google, I see plenty of people using the Jawbone with Skype, so I know the hardware has the correct BT profiles. When I try to use the headset with Skype (using Bluetooth SCO audio), it immediately reports "problem with recording device".

Any idea whats wrong?
