They likely won't really feel the effects till people start getting laid off because their company can't get a short term loan and thus don't really have the ability to do anything. Places aren't going to go down in a blaze of glory, they're going to slow burn. I understand what you're saying, but to add a little bit of perspective to my statement, I was just recently laid off (as well as my whole department) after 15+ years of service.
It's starting to effect companies. If you don't see that now (with over 700K job loss this year alone), then I'm not sure what will bring you to the point where you acknowledge that the problem has already made its presence known. -- "A study in the Washington Post says that women have better verbal skills than men.
