andyross : I've occasionally had brief audio dropouts on some HD channels. Lately it's been Science and Discovery. I found doing a pause (which causes a brief rewind), then a LIVE fixes it.

With the latest DVR firmware/software, when you change channels, there appears to be little to no lag. They are probably both playing and recording exactly simultaneously. That's why the channel change is faster than before. But, that sometimes seems to cause problems. By doing a pause, then live, you go back to the old way of having about a 0.5-1.0 sec buffer delay.
