1 edit | Re: 768 dsl speed - (25 KB/sec download speed) OK. Certainly the line that your ISP is giving you is not right. Have them check what package you're on and if your speed test show it. If not, have your ISP take a look to see what's going on. Otherwise, ideally, it's a good idea to log into your modem and check the line statistics or transceiver stats. It'll show a page with information such as the Margin/SNR, line attenuation, and sync rate. Check on that page before calling your ISP, and if you can, post up your modem's DSL line stats for us. The page should be found in the diagnostics or statistics part of your modem. |
