In the process though, I finally found the magical information I was looking for, and what I think was causing my issues. I wrote a new script that I think will do the trick #!/bin/bash modprobe bonding mode=4 miimon=100 #Load the bonding module ifconfig eth0 down#Take down eth0 ifconfig eth1 down#Take down eth1 ifconfig eth2 down#Take down eth2 ifconfig eth3 down#Take down eth3 ifconfig bond0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx#Set MAC address of bond0 interface to match eth3 ifconfig bond0 192.168.0.102 up#Activating the bond0 interface ifenslave bond0 eth0#Put the eth0 interface in the slave mod for bond0 ifenslave bond0 eth1#Put the eth1 interface in the slave mod for bond0 ifenslave bond0 eth2#Put the eth2 interface in the slave mod for bond0 ifenslave bond0 eth3#Put the eth3 interface in the slave mod for bond0 Once I am doing watching Patlabor (which happens to be located on the server :D ) I'm going to give it a try again
