[HN7000S] Decommision

Well thanks to the many who contribute. I'm moving to Sprint EVDO, so much faster and cheaper. We even have a VPN connection working to my wifes office, although it hogs the bandwidth. My question is do I need to do anything special to decommision my modem so it is resellable or just call to cancel my service? My billing period is a couple of weeks away so just keeping it on for email in case someone stills sends to old address.

I would think as long as your contract is fullfilled it would be no problem. I cancelled mine after approx. two years when Ia6 went down in June. I still lurk on the Hughesnet forums and feel the pain of many users. One good thing about the outage was my intro to the fact that Rev A was available to me. Great speeds, fast pings and same price for a more reliable network. I probably would have stayed if tech sopport/billing would have been more professional.
