Both have been extremely reliable but I tend to prefer VOIP.MS due to the lower per minute costs and low latency to their New York servers. Can you port a existing number into VOIP.MS ?? -- 3500/512 5.7 GHz Motorola Canopy Wireless; FoxValley.net 'It looks just like a Telefunken U47 !' |

I just started the process of porting my number from Vonage (due to the price increase) to voip.ms ... we'll see how that goes. |

| said by priller :I use voip.ms and CallCentric as well. voip.ms is my primary provider due to CallCentric's lack of CNAM. I use these two providers as my main ones, as well.
I understand that CC is working on a CNAM solution now.
Interesting thing is, CNAM is getting less and less useful. Even on my Verizon business landline, the CNAM on half of the incoming calls just says "Cellphone NJ" or "Private Name" (the latter is often a VoIP caller).
So when my wife calls me on her cell, I just see "Cellphone NJ" on the CNAM.
Because of this, there is actually an advantage to CallCentric's current system where you can specify the CNAM name associated with a particular number. Thus on my CC line, I can have my wife's name show up instead of "Cellphone". And if Joe Hawkins from XYZ Company calls me, I can have Joe Hawkins show up instead of XYZ, if I prefer. |

| I used viatalk for a while and was good but started getting all these wierd fees even though i had a rep add all the fees and charge my card only one time so i could keep track of them Had some oversease calls not going through but i got charged and a rep told me i have to be charged regardless of it not going through because they get charged.Found that confusing so i didnt bother arguing with her at all, just adviced myself rather Voip.ms was ok with local calls but they always spoof your calls and i tried to let them know about it ,they tell you they'll look into it and never get back to you Their international calls have horrible call quality and the premium service is high,i'd give viatalk good rating if the call does go through to be smoooth Now i'm giving future nine a try and i've read a lot about them so i hope not to run into too many problems with them |

| Just remember that some countries are harder to connect than others. Europe etc. you're almost never going to have a problem with - however Africa for example is a hard location for VoIP. With Future Nine, if you have a problem connecting - just switch routes by prefixing the number with 02(grey),03(white, or 04(premium). Please see an explanation of our grey, white, and premium routes.
This isn't a cure-all and some locations are hard even with the premium route - but overall the idea is to have you control the quality of your calls. -- Nitzan Kon, CEO Future Nine Corporation |
