<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1588128"><b>Frances0</b></A> : hello!<br><br>My advertised speed is 768 kbps but my maximum download speed is only 25 KB/sec. I don't think that is normal. Can someone tell me how to find the problem? I have done the recommendation results of my tweak tester and the line quality test. I noticed that the MTU in the WAN (PPP) interface is 1480 but in the VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter, MTU is 1500.<br><br>Does it have to be the same number?<br><br>Information:<br>OS: Windows XP sp2<br>PPPoE-> Ethernet<br>Lan Card: VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter<br>Advertised speed: 768 kbps<br>Wired ADSL Router: ADSL Barricade SMC 7801BRA<br>ISP: DSL Broadband from Bayantel<br><br>Please someone help me.
