Just saw the first $2.99 in years around here-at the station at the end of my street.
Guess where I'll be dropping $20 in at on Monday on the way to work? Everyone else near the freeway is still at least $3.09 to $3.15. Be interesting to see on Monday if they have fallen down to the same level.
The fuel truck was parked there yesterday when I left though, and the new price was up when I came back, so he must have got a real good rate on that delivery to drop down 7 cents. |

We didn't run out like some of the south did after the hurricane hit Galveston/Houston, but we always pay at least $0.25 to $0.50/gallon more out here.

Now on the price adjustments , look at YOUR own comapny and see if they have raised prices too.. I bet they have. Have you been to the grocery store lately ? What about your fast food ? Ya see the trend ? Mc D's used to have almost all "value meals" for under $5.50 Now the cheapest is $5.99 ...
