Not the right cherries...

People who buy at walmart are not exactly the cherries that at&t wants to pick up. The majority of Walmart clients are low income and live in technologically neglected areas, probably the nearest VRAD to 80% of walmart clients is 50 miles.

In respect to circuit city... we all know what is wrong with CC. »findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m···73553509

CC's abysmal losses is an indication that nobody is buying there. At 40 cents a share I wouldn't be surprised if BestBuy or Frys take over CC.

Maybe people can use their EBT cards to pay for u verse

My goodness! Stereotyping - almost a racial remark.

I shop at Walmart quite often. Caucasian, college degree professional who makes more than the median.

Feel free to pay more for the same item. I choose to cut costs as much as possible.

Yup - Here in the Santa Clarita area, there aren't many homes below $400k and there are 2 Wal-Marts + 1 WalMart SuperCenter, and plenty of VRAD's. Porter Ranch, CA (the place that's burning today) has a nice big WalMart as well, and many homes are near the million mark.

Almost but not quite since I never mentioned race... but you did manage to link low income and minorities, way to go caucasian guy.

It is a matter of demographics and statistics. I have here in front of me articles that prove that +80% of walmart's customers are low income. You can google a bit to get the idea.

But this is not the point. AT&T's uverse strict credit checks will disqualify many customers.

»Does AT&T have their own in-house credit reporting database?

I shop there. I can get everything cheaper there and if a sale, just show them the sale paper.

Saving the world keeps me busy. However, I find Earth very primitive from my home planet of Krypton.
