 Mont join:2006-05-02 Saint-Leonard, QC | [XP Home] normalize.dll problem Someone that i know is experience the following problem : as soon as he log in into window xp he get an error message saying that explorer.exe can't open normalize.dll and he then have to shut down manually his computer , what is the cause of this and what are the solution to fix this ?

| reply to Mont I don't think safe mode will work but if you can boot to DOS you can certainly copy it there.

Try to start the computer in Safe Mode.
You might want to go to msconfig (startup tab) and uncheck Musicmatch, so it won't load on startup. Or, you can go to add/remove programs and uninstall it. Then when you successfully boot to Windows you can reinstall it if necessary.
You should also consider running an updated antivirus and anti spyware program, just to rule out any infections, that could be creating issues. -- They may forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel.-- Anonymous |
