Hmm.... it looks like any month ending in 31 so far is a culprit. I wonder if all TV billing is hard-coded to happen on the 31st?

  Ok 2 issues here for 2 seperate calls I made to customer service.

1) TV Charges disappering.

Has anyone else had a problem with their TV charges just up and disappearing from their bill? My bill for 6/08 did it and my 10/2008 bill did it as well. Instead of my normal $175 triple play charges, it shows up as $86. When you look at the details, the TV portion is completely missing.

This is what my last few bills go like.

05/08: VZ Triple Play
06/08: VZ Phone, FiOS Internet
07/08: VZ Triple Play + the missing $89 from previous month
08/08: VZ Triple Play
09/08: VZ Triple Play
10/08: VZ Phone, FiOS Internet

I assume this will happen...

11/08: VZ Triple Play + the missing $89 from previous month.

I called customer support and after being on hold for an extended period of time the girl came back and said nobody there has a clue why it is happening as the system doesn't show triple play or TV service being removed at all. They suggested sending in the normal amount. Yeah.. that kind of makes sense, but what the heck? Fix it!

Then while I was at it I added the $30 entertainment package since I was already paying $28.98 for HBO/Movie packages. I can swallow $1.02/month to add Cinemax.

Lets see if they someone screw this billing change up as well!

2) One Bill.

What in the heck does it take to get enrolled in this?

I enrolled on 12/5/2007 and it never showed up. I then re-enrolled in 6/08 and again last week. Nothing! I called VZW and they said to call my local service people in MA. I called them and a helpful guy by the name of Ed looked it up. He said "Yep.. 12/5/2007, says pending. Wow! I've never seen it take this long before!" He couldn't find a reason for why it hadn't gone through. Ed then de-enrolled me and re-rolled me hoping it clears whatever logjam is in the way and asked me to call back in a day or two to see if it is fixed.

Sigh... its always interesting.
