Re: [ Express] Hotmail's mail server

Of course it goes timeout - it's part of the antispam antivirus protection that Rogers has had for years.

You are not allowed to run a mailserver on your system on Rogers network. Port 25 outbound from Rogers network is blocked to any connection except Rogers Yahoo! SMTP servers.

hey guys, i just setup a mail server on my rogers connection.. and so far i have no problems sending email messages to any providers except hotmail. when i try to manually connect to mx1.hotmail.com it just goes timeout.. is anyone else able to connect to mx1.hotmail.com 25 via telnet?

if anyone can try: telnet mx1.hotmail.com 25

please let me know!

Thank You.
