And I got an email and probably every other customer not on the yahoo portal about a future move. It's been planned forever and whatever due date ATT has will probably get delayed, again. It should, if it ever happens, affect all fastaccess customers. The plan is to move all domains (bellsouth.net,att.net,etc.) to the yahoo portal. I assume at that time all mail servers will be the same. Right now there are (atleast) three sets of mail servers for att.net, bellsouth.net, and att.net on yahoo portal domains. | |

Right now, as Yahoo! runs things, 'smtp.att.yahoo.com' is totally useless to me. If I get locked out of 'mail.pacbell.net', I will have to pay extra for a real "Smarthost". At that point, it will be worth the trouble to switch from 'at&t Yahoo! HSI' to DSL Extreme.
