| This happened to me with one of the versions of .net because Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, has started writing the patch packages to the hard drive with the most room. When you see folders named something like 'e2d88bb5ecf3a83a01d3f7' on one of your hard drives, those are the patch packages. If you've removed the folder for Silverlight, or removed or reformatted the drive, then your installation is messed up. I had a heck of a time fixing my .net problem. I ended up having to use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility to remove the software from the installed list and then re-install from scratch. |
